Steven McFarlane has over 25 years of experience in the golf course design business, with award winning projects and course designs in over twenty countries and four continents. Originally from Troon, Scotland, Steven was Director of the oldest continuous golf course design practice in the world before emigrating to United States of America and collaborating with legendary golfer Gary Player as his senior designer and Vice President of design.

Our design studio provides a full turn-key design service from initial feasibility studies and site master planning, through conceptual design and detailed design, to construction documentation and administration.

 Our services also include agronomy, landscape design, environmental impact studies, market research, financial budgeting, and signature branding for select projects. 

We are typically engaged by individual developers, government entities, resort and real estate developers, and hotel groups either directly or as part of a team of land-planners, architects and project managers.
